Dr. Rubalcava was born and raised in the beautiful San Gabriel Valley of California and graduated from the Revelle College at the University of California at San Diego (UCSD) with a Bachelor Degree in Biology. He then proceeded to obtain his Medical Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. His medical training was finalized back in California, at the Family Practice Residency Program at USC-Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital in Whittier. Dr. Rubalcava is currently board certified with the American Board of Family Practice, and a member of The American Academy of Family Practice. He is also a partner with Imperial Primary Care Medical Group in the city of La Mirada. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Rubalcava enjoys listening to music and spending time with his wife, son, and daughter.


Dr. Roach has been in practice in the La Habra and La Mirada area for over 20 years. During this time, he has served as Chairman of the Department of Medicine for both Friendly Hills Medical Group and Whittier Hospital. Dr. Roach also served as Vice Chief of Staff for the former La Habra Hospital, and is currently Vice-President of the La Habra Heights County Water District. Dr. Roach graduated Magnum Cum Laude from Thiel College, and completed his medical degree at the University of Maryland. Following the completion of his studies, he moved to California in 1975, where he completed his residency in Internal Medicine with an added qualification in Geriatrics. His additional interests include underwater photography and skiing.

Dr. Lum began practicing medicine over 20 years ago, working in Los Angeles and Orange County. A Southern California native, he is proud to serve the same communities he trained in and currently resides in. Beginning his education at UCLA, Dr. Lum graduated with a degree in biochemistry. He then attended The Chicago Medical School, where he received his medical degree. His training was completed at Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital. He has been a Board Certified Family Physician ever since. Prior to his current practice, Dr. Lum served as the Vice Chairman for the Department of Family Practice at Friendly Hills Medical Group. When not at work, Dr. Lum enjoys spending time with his wife and children, taking road trips and vacations.  He also likes to learn about home improvement projects (Do it yourself). 
Philosophy of Care:  Utilize proven scientific evidence based medicine to help patient's maintain and optimize their health. Effective diagnostic testing that helps minimize patient's cost and yet still provide effective and efficient care.  Help patients overcome their barriers to reach their goals in becoming mentally and physically well. 



Dr. Chahbouni was born in Chicago, Illinois but spent most of his childhood in Algeria, North Africa. Through his frequent travel to many neighboring countries in the Mediterranean, he developed fluency in Arabic, French, and Spanish. Dr. Chahbouni moved back to the United States at the age of seventeen and pursued his undergraduate career in Biological Science at the University of California, Irvine. As a pre-med student, Dr. Chahbouni volunteered in many clinics in rural and underserved communities. He also traveled frequently to Mexico where he delivered medication and supplies and helped doctors provide free medical care to a poor farming community in the border city of El Testerazo. Dr. Chahbouni attended Osteopathic School of Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Downey Regional Medical Center. As a resident, he joined Imperial Primary Care Medical Group to work in the after hours clinic. He has covered many nights and weekends and continues to do so in the present. Dr. Chahbouni has also served as Medical Director at Harbor Community Clinic in San Pedro and has been granted a Congressional Commendation Award for his service and dedication to helping the medically-indigent population there. During his spare time, Dr. Chahbouni enjoys playing soccer, listening to world music, and spending time with his wife and three boys.
